TEEN ONLY: why hate bugs?

after the sucess of the last teen only debate, I've decided to set up another, this time asking whether it is really right to exterminate and loathe bugs as much as we do
personally, I am a fan of species such as the cockroach and ant, but there is an almost universal loathing for them
do they really deserve this reputation?

cockroaches and ants reproduce very well, and are disastrous in most circumstances.
They, particularly cockroaches and the red fire ants, are known as pests.
They carry diseases, and there are too many of them living.

ARGARGARG BUGS! here we dont have ants and cocroaches... only much smaller insects... so they scare me.. plus, we have cocroaches in the houses of the american soldiers that used to be here(wow, they seem to have brought us these wonderful things) but they have been eradicated thanks to harsh governmental assistance! there may be a few strays, but we are prepared!

too many humans living in my opinion, and squirrels carry diseases too, but everyone thinks they're cute
they're just rats, with good PR (i like rats too)

small termintor cockroaches sent to hunt and desrtoy all the living ones?

no, not sure, but whatever the government did to eradicate them without poison the first time around will probably work again

though they would be kinda cute...

I agree that there are too many humans.

We should encourage people to spey or neuter.

well squrrels stick to trees while rats and roaches tend to enter your house and mess with your food..

people feed squirrels, and they constantly snarf the bridseed we put out, but rats and roaches cant reach birdtables, and no-one goes putting out nuts for rats (except me)
